We learnt of the passing of Miss(Isobel) Stevenson (former Acting Head) in January 2022. After leaving St Elphin's School she went on to become Head Mistress at Jersey College for Girls. In June 2022 the Librarian and Archivist from Jersey College got in touch with me as she had come across a few documents relating to St Elphin's which she duly sent on to me.

Amongst the documents was this letter from Robert Roberts, Headmaster of Worksop College to Miss Stevenson inviting a ground of girls to their Sixth Form Dance! It would be interesting to hear from anyone who remembers going to this dance (or any others for that matter) and, better still, would be any photos that you may have
